The Parish Altar Servers Team help by serving the Priest at the altar during Mass and other services. During the liturgy the Servers assist the Priest by performing a number of liturgical roles like Thurifer or Acolyte.

Servers who actively participate during their first year will be invited to join the Guild of St Stephen which is the National Organisation for Altar Servers.

You can become an Altar Server after you have made your First Holy Communion. Full training is provided and includes an illustrated Altar Servers Guide.
